#1. Got 15% OFF baby products when you sign up for a baby registry at retailers (Amazon, Target, …)
When I was pregnant for the first time, I didn’t know what a registry was. Now, I use baby registries at retailers to unlock discounts for expecting parents. After spending a required minimum, you get 15% off baby products for a period around your due date.
This time, I created registries on both Amazon and Target and added many items, including DIAPERS. Honestly, even if you don’t know your baby’s size yet, you can still add one box of each size from 1 through 5–6. Target occasionally runs 15–20% off Pampers diapers, like $25 off $100 or $25 off $125 deals. Amazon sometimes offers $20 off $80–$100 on Pampers. By stacking these promotions with the 15% registry discount, I saved quite a bit on diapers for my baby.
Of course, many other items—such as baby formula, clothes, bottles, etc.—are also discounted.
Amazon is having $20 off $80 on Pampers diapers right now. Check it out: https://amzn.to/493YxS2
#2. Bought SeaWorld Silver Annual Pass for the whole family during year-end holiday sales and enjoyed multiple visits throughout the year.
A friend recommended this to me, and I absolutely love it because my oldest child really enjoys animals. The Silver Pass usually comes with 3–4 free guest passes, and children under 3 enter for free.
Instead of paying $49 per person for a day pass plus $30 for parking—which would add up to over $250 for four people each trip—I bought the pass during a sale for about $10 per month, saving us roughly $100–$150 per trip. Sometimes during summer or holidays, they even throw in extra free tickets.
Right now, SeaWorld is still running a Silver Pass sale, though it’s no longer $10/month like it was on Black Friday.

(3) Borrowed books from the library instead of buying books for my kids
Before, whenever I saw a good book, I’d buy it for my kids—especially since my first child loves reading.
Now, every library trip means bringing home 15-20 new books at a time. The libraries have books in different languages if your kids are multilingual. These days, I only buy books that my kids absolutely love that the library doesn’t have.
On average, this saves me hundreds of dollars on children’s books. At the same time, my kid can enjoy so many different books comfortably without us bringing home so many.
Hope it helps! And I would love to know saving tips from you as well.
